Marnoch "Energetic" at Moto Park

By DVNTYMX

DVNTYMX team rider R.J. Marnoch proved that the previous weekend's 2-class sweep at RJM was no fluke by finishing 1/1 in the 65cc PeeWee class and 3/3 in the 85cc 7-11 class at Moto Park in Chatsworth Ontario Sunday April 27.

Moto Park's general manager, Carl Bastedo predicted a competitive field in all classes indicating that as many as 30 local riders from the immediate area were expected to contend various classes on the day. Holland Centre's Max Williams backed up the statement going 2/2 in the PeeWee class behind Marnoch.

The win gives RJM 100 points, 18 back of Motovan.com Spring MX Classic Series points leader Mitchell Goheen who has competed in all three rounds compared with Marnoch's two. In the 85cc 7-11 class Marnoch trails Adam Barth by 15 points (105- 90).

"Jousting!"

Extending his 65cc PeeWee Class winning streak to 4 motos in a row DVNTYMX’s Progressive Lighting sponsored rider R. J. Marnoch is definitely "switched on".

Riding for the Don Valley North Toyota Yamaha Motocross Racing Team with support from Asselstine Country, Factory Connection Canada, Mechanix Wear, NGK, Yamalube, DNE Performance, Progressive Lighting and Torbram Electric, R.J. has "set the bar" for his teammates in the early going.

Trevor Emery, the team's only Intermediate Class rider, continues to impress with solid efforts on his 450F. He is currently holding 4th and 11th (series) positions in MX-1 and GP Pro respectively having ridden 4/6 and 8/8 for the day at Moto Park.

Sebright's Jamie Both (14) continues his learning curve on the "blue" YZ250 and sits 28th out of 65 entrants in the GP Junior class. The full team of six amateur racers including Geoff Monk, Steve Donadel and Kirsten MacDonald will be at Gopher Dunes this weekend, May 3 and 4.
