Don Valley North's Grand Opening celebrations took place Thursday evening June 26th amid much pomp and ceremony with approximately 400 guests in attendance.
The sparkling new state-of-the-art facility dazzled the crowd and left everyone with an impression that truly exceeded expectations.
In attendance for the ribbon cutting ceremony were (from left to right: Yoshi Nirro, Director - Don Valley North Automotive Group; Norio Naka, President - Don Valley North Automotive Group; Ikuo Miyahara, Chairman - Yokohama Toyopet & Owner - Don Valley North Automotive Group; Yoichi Tomihara, President and CEO - Toyota Canada Inc.; Frank Scarpitti, Mayor of Markham; Dave LaLonde, Vice-President Operations - Don Valley North Automotive Group and Amin Tejani, General Manager Don Valley North Toyota.
Japanese drums marked the beginning of a night to remember and the opening of a new page in the dealership's storried history. Don Valley North has been Canada's #1 Volume Toyota dealer since inception in 1973.
